While other OEMs wait for MWC or their own events ZTE just skipped over all of the formalities and released the first device with the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC. For those unfamiliar, the ZTE Axon range of devices they offer a great combination of excellent hardware and close to stock Android software.
With ZTE officially announcing their latest Android Flagship the Axon 10s Pro they have taken the mantle of first smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 SoC, something very important on the internet. Despite the bragging rites the Axon 10s Pro is no slouch.
Featuring a 6.47-Inch FHD AMOLED display with a tear drop notch, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, 4000 mAh battery and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Image sensor-wise the Axon 10s includes a 48MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto and a 20MP Ultra Wide angle sensor. Around the front there’s a 20MP selfie camera. ZTE have a little catching up to do in the premium image market, let’s hope the SD865 gives them the life they need.
With ZTE being the first to announce the Snapdragon 865, there’s a lot of road left to be the first to market. Game on OEMs, game on.
