A few weeks ago we introduced you to the Vacos camera, an IndieGogo campaign. Following a successful funding campaign, they’re now in manufacturing and shipping in March. A little dig on their site shows that the camera isn’t the only device they’re getting ready to release to the public. The Vacos X is their video doorbell that we’re currently expecting to see in June.
At the moment we don’t have any information other than what it looks like. It would be fair to expect that this is the first step towards a system similar to Ring including camera’s and doorbells, with potential future expansion of products.
The Vacos X landing page offers the ability to be kept informed via a mailing list, we’ll be doing that and posting further updates once information is available. We’ll also be in touch with Vacos to make sure we get some hands-on once the camera and doorbell are available.
