These are not just unprecedented but also trying times we currently live in. With gyms and fitness centres closed down now in most areas in Australia and not expected to open for quite a few months you could easily give up that hard fought-for fitness with months of Netflix bingeing — or you could use the time to stay / get fit (and Netflix binge) with the help of the Fitbit premium app.
Fitbit are offering a 90 day free trial now to new users of their Fitbit Premium service. For those new to the service this paid subscription includes:
- Personalized health insights
- Health guidance
- Advanced sleep tools
- Customised programs
- 150+ workouts from fitness brands like barre3, Daily Burn, POPSUGAR, and Yoga Studio by Gaiam
Workouts can be streamed to your phone or PC (and then Cast to your TV if that’s how you want to play it). There are also extra features for corporations who have a subscription to help their work from home staff not just keep in touch but also stay fit.
To access the Fitbit Premium service you just go into the standard Fitbit app and follow the prompts to Premium. Remember this new 90 day free trial is only available to first time users — which we assume is based on email address — so if you have used it before and want to test it out again you will need to make a new account from a different email address.
