Google Assistant has a fairly regular cadence of development with new features dropping on a regular basis. Today the team has launched the ability to record and send a Voice message via the Assistant.
To use the new feature, which is rolling out but not yet available for us, simply ask the Assistant, “Hey Google, send an audio message” or “Hey Google, send an audio message to Paul saying I’m on the way.” Assistant will record the message and seemingly send it via your chosen MMS app.
The new feature will be available in all English speaking countries as well as in Portuguese in Brazil.
This feature works already in Australia, I just tested it out I’m on the beta of all Google’s applications so I’m not sure if this is a necessity but it certainly does work well on my Galaxy fold and my pixel 4xl
