The Samsung Galaxy S20 phones had a bit of a design change this year with their new camera modules. Next year looks set to be much of the same if renders that surfaced overnight are to be believed, with the phone set to launch in January.

Serial leaker @OnLeaks has overnight revealed renders based on CAD measurements showing off the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra (assuming Samsung use that naming scheme).

Galaxy S21 Ultra

The Galaxy S21 Ultra will apparently arrive with a slight curved to the edge of the display, although it does not seem as extreme as we have seen on Samsung phones in the past. There will once again be a single punch hole in the display for the selfie camera along with extremely small bezels.

The Galaxy S21U will have a massive camera module once again, once again four lenses in total — take that Google! The huge camera module will also hold the flash as well as the large lenses. The device will be a massive 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm (10.8mm, including the camera bump). There is no slot for an S-Pen though which has been rumoured.

Galaxy S21

The Galaxy S21 on the other hand will have a flat display with its single hole punch for the front camera. The rear camera module will once again house the three lenses but the flash located adjacent to the module. The module itself seems to also incorporate the frame of the device as it does on the S21 Ultra.

The Galaxy S21 will apparently be 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm (9.0mm with the camera bump included).

With both phones rumoured to be announced in January next year we won’t have long to way to find out more details — expect many more leaks of the upcoming Samsung devices between now and then.

Why can’t they just make a thicker phone with a larger battery, and eliminate the camera bump altogether?!
