IMILAB, a division of global powerhouse brand, Xiaomi, has today launched the EC2 Wire-Free Outdoor Camera & Gateway Bundle-Twin Pack in Australia which will retail for approximately $299.
The EC2 Wire-Free Outdoor Camera & Gateway Bundle-Twin Pack is as described a dual security camera system with a network base that is IP66-certified weatherproof meaning it can handle heat, rain and even snow. Both cameras feature human detection and intelligent alerts, with an alarm along with real time notifications sent to your mobile device when motion is detected.
Both cameras can record in full HD 1080p and also have 8 powerful infrared lights for illumination up to 33 feet away and will switch from day to night mode automatically. Both cameras have a long stand-by time and come with an built-in 5100mAh rechargeable battery which can run for about 120 days.
Video from both cameras can be streamed via the Mi Home app which is free to download from the Google Play store.
