A couple of years ago the JBL Quantum 800 impressed us and now it’s had an upgrade.
The JBL Quantum 810 carries a full feature set along with great connectivity — dual 2.4Ghz Wireless and Bluetooth — and battery life of over 40 hours. This puts it in a similar connectivity capacity and price to the EPOS 560, but it has to be said, looking significantly cooler!
There is a lot of sound on offer here, whether you’re gaming, chatting to your team or making calls on your phone. That quality of sound from the 50mm drivers offers a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Further complemented by the JBL QuantumSURROUND™ and DTS Headphone:X 2.0, then topped off with Active Noise cancelling.
The quality focus isn’t just on sound though, it’s on experience with leather-wrapped ear cushions and lightweight construction for maximum comfort. If you’re the sort of player who spends a lot of time chatting to your team then you’re in luck because the microphone has echo and noise suppression.
It’s also set for visibility options with the JBL QuantumENGINE™ PC software giving users customisation of EQ, RGB colours, mic settings and levels within the game. If it’s sounding like something you might like to investigate further; JBL Quantum 810 is available from Harvey Norman, Big W, Betta, Retravision, Bing Lee, Amazon and JB HiFi with an RRP of $349.95
