As mentioned previously in February, BYD has a deal to supply rental company SIXT Australia with it’s popular Atto 3 electric car.
More than 500 BYD electric vehicles are set to join the SIXT Australia fleet this year, with the first 200 arriving in Australia next month during April. SIXT Australia aims to have a 50% EV fleet in the coming years.
The Atto 3 will be available Australia wide exclusively with SIXT from $90 a day, which is a great rental option for Aussie holiday makers who want to drive a lot of km as the price includes free recharges at Chargefox and NRMA stations.
As an added bonus you don’t need to return a rental Atto 3 to SIXT fully charged.
SIXT Australia CEO, Matthew Beattie said this is another example of SIXT Australia’s commitment to leading the mobility market towards an EV future.
“The BYD’s we will have in our fleet as early as April will make choosing an EV even more attractive for customers and corporates looking to save on fuel costs and minimise their footprint”.
“The BYD ATTO 3 is an exclusive offering with SIXT for anyone looking to rent one in Australia. They offer an uncompromising EV experience with a 400km manufacturer advertised charge range”.
The SIXT Australia EV Rental page should be updated soon to reflect the availability of the BYD Atto 3.
They already rent out a wide range of other EV’s including: Tesla Model 3 and Y, BMW IX3, Hyundai Ioniq, Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV
