There are plenty of reasons to like either of the major mobile operating systems. But there are a few, if you’re used to one or th eother, to stick with what you know. Google has announced that a few of its best Chrome tricks are heading for iOS.

Chrome actions have been around on Android for a little while now and, iOS users will soon be able to use them. What seems like simple features, being able to create a calendar event from a webpage, accessing maps based on address, Google Lens and quick translate options.

With the update, all of these will be heading to iOS to help users who prefer the Apple hardware but Google services. It’s an interesting and continually evolving space with the operating system battles, but at the end of the day the winners are the users.
