Optus is offering Australians a chance to experience its award-winning mobile network for free with the new Optus Network Trial. This initiative allows users to try the Optus network for 7 days without any commitments or payment details.

To participate, users need to download the My Optus app on an eSIM-capable device. The trial includes 30GB of data, unlimited standard national talk, and 1000 standard national texts for use within Australia.

The aim is to showcase Optus’ confidence in its network speeds and coverage. Users can seamlessly compare their current provider with Optus, using features like Network Pulse in the My Optus app to check connection strength and perform speed tests.

Maurice McCarthy, Managing Director Customer Success at Optus, expressed enthusiasm for the trial, stating,

“We believe that once customers experience the Optus difference, they’ll make the switch with confidence.”

Optus boasts Australia’s fastest 5G mobile network for download speeds, recognised by Opensignal for six consecutive terms. Serving over 10 million Australians, Optus emphasizes great coverage and innovative customer control through the My Optus app.

The trial is designed to be hassle-free, concluding automatically after 7 days. Customers can then choose to switch to an Optus mobile plan and port their existing number seamlessly.

For those interested, the process is simple: download the My Optus app, sign up, activate your eSIM, and enjoy 7 days of free connectivity.
