With the release season just around the corner, Samsung have taken the initiative to drive further sales to their current crop of phones by offering a free pair of JBL Headphones to anyone who upgrades to an eligible device by the 18th of November.
The offer is available through the usual major retail chains and via redemption on their website offers Aussies a free pair of JBL Duet NC headphones which are valued at $349AU. The eligible devices are the Galaxy S9, S9+, Note9 and the Tab S4.
The JBL Duet NC headphones combine a sleek design and premium materials to deliver a signature sound. Along with superior active noise cancelling technology in both wired and wireless modes, they offer a truly remarkable sound experience.
The process to get your headphones is very simple: Buy, Register and Redeem – of course there are terms and conditions of this, so make sure you have a read of the site to understand clearly.
Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, JB Hifi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, Office Works, Costco, David Jones, Domayne and Joyce Mayne are the participating retailers for the promotion or you can purchase from Samsung online directly. Claim for the headphones must be made before December 2 so you still have plenty of time to think about it.
With several major device releases coming in the next month or so, including the Pixel 3 phones at the Made By Google Event, Samsung’s marketing team are being very smart about pushing their current flagship before they have major competitors’ flagships swamping them.
With those pending releases, does a $349 set of headphones entice you to upgrade now? Or will you wait to see what the others have to offer (and make the decision before December 2?
