Thanks to the continual stream of leaks and renders there aren’t too many surprises from this morning. Thankfully though, when it comes to the Galaxy Buds Pro, the leaks were accurate and they look pretty impressive. They offer an evolution on the previous Galaxy Buds with a refined look and intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient mode to ensure safety when moving around town.

The Galaxy Buds Pro boasts “studio-quality” audio and are capable of intelligently switching between compatible Samsung Galaxy devices eg. from a tablet to your phone if a call comes in. They also have the capability to automatically change the ANC modes to minimise noise isolation when it becomes a matter of safety.

The IPX7 rating results in earbuds that aren’t just able to deliver sound, but capable of doing it under almost any conditions: Rain, hail or shine and take a beating while you’re at it. The requirements for connection are pretty basic too, only needing Android 5.0 or higher and access to Samsung’s control app.

Garry McGregor, Senior Vice President, Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics Australia said:

People are depending on wireless earbud technology more than ever since the trials of 2020 and this category is one of the fastest growing amongst consumers. We use them for music and entertainment, work, education and more. We also know that audio quality is of fundamental importance as is their ability to seamlessly fit into our lives.

You’ll be able to pick up a pair as of today for $349.00 at samsung.com and selected retailers in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver or Phantom Violet.
