High-end Australian accessory designer and manufacturer Aerios, has returned to IndieGoGo to promote the new version of their Moduul dock for smartwatches. Of course we’re familiar with the Moduul dock from their previous campaign for the LG G Watch/G Watch R compatible version last year. The new version now supports the latest and newest advances in the Smartwatch world, the Apple Watch and the biggest Kickstarter project in history: Pebble Time.
If you’re not familiar with the Moduul smartwatch dock, it’s a stand for your smartwatch to sit on while it charges. Obviously sitting up with the screen displayed means you can now use your watch even while charging to display the time, as well as notifications.
The stand is made of an anodised metal in three colours – silver, black and gold – with a walnut inlay that contains the charger embedded into it. If those designs aren’t enough, there is a one-off option for an exclusive Gold Plated Moduul for either a Pebble Time or Apple Watch if you’re wanting something extra high-end.
The Moduul dock is compatible with both sizes of Apple Watch or the Pebble Time and Pebble Time steel. It’s essentially the same concept as the previous campaign, though they’ve doubled their goal to $3,000. The goal is inconsequential at this stage, with the campaign already attracting over $2,500 in funding, 84% of their goal in just two days – but there’s still time to grab your Moduul with prices starting from just $35 for the early bird special, though there’s a few Super Early Bird specials for the Apple Watch model at $30 left.
The Moduul dock looks fantastic, and it’s very well priced. It’s got that great look that even Apple fans can appreciate and Pebble Time fans will love too. If you ordered a Pebble Time – or are going to buy an Apple Watch, check out the Moduul dock on IndieGoGo or on the Aerios website now.
