For me, in-ear headphones are essential for fitness, and choice is great which is why Optoma launching two new models in Australia is great news. This week, Optoma has announced their NuForce BE Sport3 and NuForce BE6i in-ear headphones are available to buy in Australia.
Both the NuForce BE Sport3 and NuForce BE6i are bluetooth headphones with support for aptX & AAC. They’re similar in that they’re wireless in-ear headphones but are aimed at different areas of the market.
NuForce BE Sport3
The NuForce BE Sport3 are the cheaper model of the two, selling for $124.99 but with great sound quality and a 10-hour battery life. They’re IP55 certified for water, sweat and dust resistance allowing your workout to get messy and wet, but not too wet if necessary.
The NuForce BE Sport3 are a little more fun than the BE6i with six pairs of ear wings in three colors and two sizes. They also come with one set of SpinFit TwinBlade ear tips, and six pairs of standard silicone tips. A wrap-around neck clip, and a neoprene carrying pouch are included as well to protect the earphones and accessories from sweat and water when not in use.
NuForce BE6i
The NuForce BE6i is a more premium design made from aluminum and offering a lightweight and elegant option for the sports enthusiast. They have an 8-hour battery life and are priced at a still decent $174.99 in either Grey or Gold.
The BE6i are rated IPX5 allowing for protection from rain and sweat and come with a 10mm driver for a big sound while you work out.
The NuForce BE6i come with a carrying pouch in which you can store the cable clip, wrap-around neck clip, and the silicone ear wings. You can get the best fit with the included six sets of proprietary NuForce silicone ear tips, and a set of Comply soft foam ear tips.
