D-Link has some great hardware at a really affordable price from network equipment, to smart home options, accessories and surveillance. The addition of two new models on the Vigilance range shows the company’s continued dedication to staying on the front line of home security and offering new, innovative options that meet a need.
The two offerings are a bullet camera and a dome camera with some impressive shared specs and a few points of difference on the two.
Both cameras offer 2560 x 1920 resolution delivered with H.265, H.264, and MJPEG codec support, with 3DNR (an image noise suppression technology) and WDR (dynamic range capabilities for lighting conditions), Poe Connectivity and all in an IP66 compliant body. These shared, wide ranging specs make both cameras a great and reasonably affordable option for homes and small businesses looking to protect themselves.
The DCS-4705E 5-Megapixel Outdoor Mini Bullet Camera boasts up to 30 metre IR night vision, a 5-megapixel sensor and some fairly dynamic viewing angles for a bullet camera.
D-Link’s DCS-4605EV 5-Megapixel Outdoor Dome Camera also packs a 5 megapixel sensor with 20 meters of IR night vision and the major points of difference here are the IK10 vandal-proof housing and microSD Card for hardware based recording.
