Earlier at CES 2019, Mobvoi released two new Wear OS smartwatches featuring improved battery life and a move to the Snapdragon Wear platform.
Disappointingly, perhaps, Mobvoi have used the older Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform instead of the newer 3100 series, but considering the internals are much the same, it probably doesn’t matter much.
Across both the TicWatch E2 and TicWatch S2, there are four main features to note – waterproofing to 5 ATM pressure, swim monitoring, 30% increase in battery life, and that new Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor (a change from the prior MediaTek cores).
Mobvoi have announced that the new watches will go on sale soon after CES 2019. The full specifications for each of the new watches is available below:
Are you interested in a new Mobvoi watch? We’ll be catching up with them at MWC if we can to try out their new products.
What’s the difference between the E2 and S2? The specs are identical except one of them comes in white as well as bkack5.
