Lenovo’s introduction of the Yoga Book at IFA this year was a real eye opener for many. Lenovo is offering a sleek, stylish, powerful device with many features for a great price and now you can pre-order it in Australia for $799.
The $799 price tag includes the delivery and GST, and the unit will start heading your way in 2-3 weeks.
While it’s a lot for a 2-in-1 device, it’s got a lot of features. The 360-degree watchband hinge lets you use the device in four different modes for all manner of functions including ‘Create Mode for note taking and drawing, Browse Mode as a compact 10.1” tablet, Watch Mode for entertainment, and Type Mode as a productive laptop’.
But the biggest feature is the Halo Keyboard. The Yoga Books second panel includes a backlit keyboard with haptic feedback that disappears to allow you to enter a drawing or note taking mode, which works with the included stylus or an everyday pen if you place a sheet of paper over the panel.
Packed full of hardware, the Yoga Book is powered by an Intel Atom processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and microSD card slot. Lenovo is only offering a Wi-Fi model in Australia, though a 4G LTE model is available overseas.

Lenovo is selling the Yoga Book in Gunmetal Grey in Australia, I’ve been using this model for just over a week and to be honest it’s about the best thing since sliced bread. A full review is on its way shortly, so if you’re on the fence stay tuned for that, but if you’ve decided that this is for you, head over to the Lenovo website and check it out.
Can this handle photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop?
Only the Android versions on the Android model. On the Windows 10 model I imagine it can run both.
Give me a ChromeOS version of this thing so that updates are managed by Google, and put a better processor in it (Skylake m3 would be nice) and I’m ready to buy!
