For ChromeOS users the ability to use multiple accounts has been a bit of a sore point for some time. There’s been ways around it, but it’s a bit clumsy. The team at Chrome Story have found that the multiple account management is now functioning in the Canary channel.

Located under Settings > People > Google Accounts – The ability to add extra accounts under a primary login then gives users the opportunity to identify their preferred default account for actions.

At the moment it is unclear if this will be an exclusive function to some of the more premium ChromeOS devices such as the Pixelbook (which is where they tested it), but once it is known – we’ll ensure that the information is shared. This continued development shows ChromeOS isn’t going anywhere and is getting some consistent attention from the team at Google to ensure it becomes more functional for everyday use.

Is ChromeOS a daily driver OS for you, or do you still run with other options?
