Today is most definitely the calm before the storm. The calmness hasn’t stopped the Moto G5 from leaking even more. We have already seen press renders and specs leak for it and the Moto G5 Plus. This latest leak includes the Moto G5 packaging and the entire box contents.
Via OLX, Brazillian online auction site, the contents of the Moto G5 box have been laid bare for all to see. The images show the G5 as we saw it in the press renders last week, with fingerprint sensor on the front and Moto dimple on the back. It seems there is a removable 2800mAh battery to go with the TurboPower charger that Motorola/Lenovo include with most of their devices these days.
The front rip-off screen protector confirms the 5in FHD display, a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and 32GB of on-board storage. None of these are any surprise after all the leaks the past few weeks, but just another level of confirmation.
With the announcement in about twelve hours we hope to find out Australian availability and prices for this and its higher specced sibling, the Moto G5 Plus.
Stay tuned to Ausdroid for all the latest details from MWC as those still here in Australia gear ourselves up for a sleepless night and the 3 sets of boots on the ground in Barcelona ready themselves for a busy day.
wow. just my opinion. But the back of that phone looks terrible. 2004 called and it wants its phone back. Yeah for Lenovo.
