Got a big file you need to receive? You can now receive larger files in Gmail as long as they’re under 50MB with Google raising the restriction from today.
The update is for receiving files only with the 25MB restriction for sending files still in place. Google rightly points out you can share files through Google Drive an easy process now which also reminds you to update sharing options on the file before you send.
The update is going out to all users including G Suite customers over the next 3 days, so if you’ve been hitting this roadblock then you should be ready to rock shortly.
