The Galaxy S9 is right around the corner, so it’s no surprise to see prices start to fall on last year’s models. As part of its summer sale, Optus is offering healthy discounts on Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8.
The Galaxy S8 will set you back $59 per month on a plan that includes 20GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and 150 international minutes.
The Note 8 is a little pricier at $79 per month, but you get 25GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and 200 international minutes.
If you’re not a Samsung fan, you can get the HTC U11 on the same $59 plan as the Galaxy S8.
All these plans come with Optus’ standard entertainment bonuses. These include an Optus Sport subscription, data-free music streaming through Spotify and Google Play Music, and data-free video streaming through Netflix and Stan.
Optus is running promos these until February 26.
Now this is tricky. Shall I get a Note 8 now or wait for S9+.
