What a screw up – almost a week a head of the official launch, Amazon has accidentally published a listing for the Huawei P30 Pro with European pricing included.

The listing, which has since been pulled, gives us information about pricing, a release date, and another look at some official marketing images. Well spotted by GSMArena that one.

It confirms some of the details which, until now, were only rumoured (albeit fairly comprehensively). The listing shows a Huawei P30 Pro model featuring Android Pie, powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 Processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

This package will come in at €1024 which feels like kind of a weird number, but it’s entirely possible Amazon’s accidentally published listing did not have final pricing attached.

Another aspect confirmed is the 4,200 mAh battery in the Huawei P30 Pro, but a lower resolution FHD+ display. This should see increased battery life over the already exceptional Mate 20 Pro, which is very encouraging.

For Europe, at least, the listing suggests a launch date as early as April 5, just over a week after the March 26 announcement event. This strongly suggests we’ll see equivalent timing here in Australia, too.

Amazon’s leak comes this morning after some marketing collateral was published last night by MySmartPrice, showing us new handset colours and another look at one of the new smartwatches to be announced next week.
