Amazon Prime Day is a couple of days where Amazon Prime members can get some great deals on a vast array of items. Australians are able to access both the Australian Amazon website but also the US website for their Prime Day(s). This means that us Aussies get nearly 36 straight hours of Prime Day sales.
This year Amazon Australia’s Prime Day kicks off at 12am AEDT on Tuesday 13th October and runs for 48 hours until 11:59PM AEDT on Wednesday October 14. The US Prime Day sales continue until 6pm on Thursday October 15 for Australians — capping off an overlapping two lots of 48 hours of sales. Australians thus get 66 hours of Prime Day sales — maybe they should just make it Prime Week?
Savings this year include $100 off RRP of the Echo Show 8, up to 30% off RRP on Ring Home Security and up to $80 off RRP on the Kindle Paperwhite. Other relevant sales include Panasonic and Nikon camera discounts, Fitbit Versa starting from $199 and 15% off selected PS4 games. The PS4 Pro 1TB black console will also be on sale for $399.
Of course sales are not just limited to tech items and include household, fashion, health and personal care items, pantry food and drink and kids books.
Amazon tend to drop the items are different periods of the days at different times so if you are after something in particular keep an eye out for the time it’s price drops. We should have more information on specific items in the next day or two but for now head on over to Amazon AU and plan your Prime Day purchases.
