Despite some reported rough patches, Android One continues to launch in more countries, this time arriving in Myanmar (formerly Burma) with Cherry Mobile the major partner.

The Android One destined for Myanmar will be running a 1.3GHz Mediatek processor, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with microSD card slot, 4.5″ Capacitive Screen, 5MP rear facing camera and 2MP selfie camera. As with previous Android One handsets, it’s based off the same spec released in the other seven countries that Android One has launched in, although Turkey got a Snapdragon based handset with higher end camera.

The handset will come with Android 5.1.1 on it, and will receives automatic Android updates for 2 years.

The phone will arrive on Cherry Mobile on June 26th for Ks109,000 (around AUD$127).
