Every week, discount supermarket ALDI has its special buys items, offering all manner of things clustered around a bunch of themes. Whether its camping equipment, motorcycle accessories, home entertainment or regional foods, there’s something for many each week, and it’s constantly changing.
This week, ALDI has a great deal on some home entertainment gear, but the highlight is a fairly cheap Ultra HD 4K TV. If you’re interested, you’d best jump in the car and head to ALDI for opening time, as they’re sure to disappear from shelves pretty quickly this weekend.
For just $399, score yourself a 4K Ultra HD TV with 50-inch display. It includes a PVR function for recording your favourite shows to watch later, ARC (for compatibility with Blu-Ray players, Chromecast etc. which can remotely power your TV), 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, and optical-out for linking to your sound system.
It’s wall mountable too, but be warned – you’ll need to buy a wall mounting kit separately (you can find them at JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, etc).
For those looking for something smaller, there’s also a smaller Philips 22-inch Full HD TV for $119. The perfect size for a kids entertainment room, or maybe if you want a telly somewhere small (perhaps in your campervan?) Who knows.
