The build up to the launch of Kit Kat for the top tier Samsung devices, like the Galaxy S4 and Note 3 is getting intense and after leaking a test build of Kit Kat for the Galaxy S4 over the weekend, SamMobile have just announced they’ve acquired a new firmware build that means that Galaxy Note 3 owners can share in the Kit Kat fun.
After they tweeted over the weekend that the build they had for the Galaxy Note 3 was not ready, SamMobile have procured a more final build which they feel is ready for release. The changes are similar to that found in the Galaxy S4 Kit Kat firmware leak – Icons changed from Green to white, camera shortcut on lockscreen, slightly faster performance – and this build is believed to be feature complete, meaning that apart from some potential stability or security patches, this could be what is rolled out to end users beginning in the next 1-2 weeks.

After update to android 4.4.2 for note 3..it have a android prosses lag..i think 3 time i was wipe my note 3..need help..it suck…
so will this work on my (vodafone bought) Galaxy Note 3 even if it is carrier unlocked?
BTW, not sure what that’s a picture of ^ but it’s not a Note 3 and I don’t think it actually exists. In fact, it looks like a well made fan concept.

Seems as though official release has just started too for some countries…poland and i cant remember where else. People have said it is same as leak…so maybe still has minor issues but seems to be unfolding pretty quickly…tomorrow morning i reckon and there will be a CWM flashable version…i’ll wait til then because flashing now will flash a new bootloader meaning u can be stuck without root…for a while…or go through the whole downgrade procesa which can be a bit iffy so…best to wait a day. Peeps are hard at work. Give it 24 hrs.
CF-autoroot for the Note 3 SM-N9005 has been updated for kitkat and so has Supersu
Also if you flash as sammobile has describe it wont void warranty or trip knox…best to do ur reading first but
Perfectly safe. Running it now on my carrier unlocked Note 3, not even a hiccup.
