If you’re in the market for a new top of the line Android phone then the Huawei P9 is at least worth your consideration. Chris got some hands-on time with the device recently and couldn’t fault the hardware, and while the software is still a little meh, thankfully Android is customisable. As for the Huawei Watch, it’s basically taken the top spot for Android Wear devices around here.
The offer from Vodafone gives you their mid tier $60 plan with 4GB of data (if ordered online), unlimited national calls, unlimited worldwide text messages, 2 months free network access and a month unlimited data, coming to a monthly total of $75. That makes the cost of the Phone and the watch together just $600 over two years (if you compare the total cost to a similar SIM only plan). Pay just $5 extra and you’ll get a whole lot more data.
If you want the best Android Wear device on the market, with a great phone, at a very good price, this could be the deal you’re looking for.
Are you in in the market for a new device? Is this offer enough to tempt you to try Vodafone? Let us know in the comments.
Definitely getting the P9.
Any idea when Optus will release their pricing.. Voda and Telstra already have.
When I first read this I thought you got the lot for $60/month. Oh closer inspection I think it’s $75, is that correct?
it is, sorry for the confusion, it looks like I was less than clear. my appoligies
Interesting …. I am due a new phone and was looking at Huawei, and my 1st gen Moto 360 won’t get Wear 2 soooo …….
So where’s the $15/month come from?
FRom the Vodafone link: “Get this Huawei phone bundle for $15 a month ($10 Huawei Watch + $5 Huawei P9) on our $60 Red Plan.”
Definitely a misleading title.
My apologies, it was not my intention to mislead. We have updated to avoid confusion.
