Following on from a leak of Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 in the flesh, we’ve now potentially got some more details about what’s inside.
Overnight, Ice Universe shared some details which – apparently – give away the battery details for the new Galaxy S10 range. Bear in mind, though, that these details appear to be literally scribbled over the top of some plastic cases.
Is this official confirmation? Hardly. Is there anything to back this rumour apart from someone’s crude editing in MS Paint? No.
Frankly, the details from Ice Universe are light on, and quite possibly complete fabrication. However, if you’re the kind to believe this kind of thing, the claimed battery sizes are:
- Galaxy S10+ — 4,000 mAh
- Galaxy S10 — 3,500 mAh
- Galaxy S10 Lite — 3,100 mAh
Those battery sizes put the Galaxy S10 comfortably ahead of the S9 range, in some cases only just. The S10 Lite is a touch larger than the S9’s 3,000 mAh battery, but the 4,000 mAh battery on the S10+ is a big improvement over the S9+’s 3,500 mAh capacity. At 4,000 mAh it matches the Galaxy Note 9’s battery, and that’s pretty decent. Remember, though, that the S10+ is also rumoured to have the largest display (at 6.4-inch), meaning the battery life will be somewhat offset by the larger display.
Please don’t miinform by your bogus arrival note 9 itself has 4000mah batter
