If you’re keen on having the biggest, best, fastest, loudest or most advanced tech then listen up. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is now available for pre-registration in Australia.
The registration site attached to Samsung Australia’s official site gives little away about the actual Australian launch date. One thing is for certain, it will cost you more than just clearing the change from the back of your couch.
The Galaxy Fold has had a somewhat rocky road to start its journey into the market. There have been issues with hardware such as broken screens due to a variety of factors. So much so that the device launch was delayed and re-launched into selected markets.
Sadly it’s not clear that the second generation hardware has solved all the issues – already TechCrunch has reported issues with a review device.
The technology involved here for foldable displays is astonishing and the engineering mind boggling. Personally I hope that longer term, the experience is worth the cost you have to outlay.
