We now have confirmation (we already knew…) that the next Samsung devices will be unveiled on the 15th of January. We’re expected to see the S21 series of devices, potentially a tile-like device and the Galaxy Buds Pro, but new details show changes are coming.

With only days to go before we officially see the next Samsung devices, it’s not a surprise that the leaks are coming thick and fast. 91 Mobiles has reported that in “limited markets”, pre-orders for the S21 devices will come with some bundled goodies.

the tipster tells us that customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S21 Ultra will get SmartTag and Buds Pro for free, and those pre-ordering the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will get the SmartTag and Buds Live for free.

Which is great news if you’re waiting for the S21 series before upgrading your mobile. But there may be even more to the S21 series than in previous years.

Have we seen the last Galaxy Note?

One of the leaks that has appeared on WinFuture is of a Note style S-Pen for the S21 Ultra. An interesting development, given the renders show no dedicated slot. This is — in part at least — overcome by the case which stores the S-Pen.

Given the major point of difference for many users between the Galaxy S and Note devices are the S-Pen, the question remains, will we see a new Note device in 2021?

Do you think there will be any surprises for us when the Unpacked event airs in 10 days time, or will we already know everything?

The only “surprise” I’d like to see is a removable battery. Absolute scam that manufacturers weld the batteries in now, forcing you to buy a whole new unit when it dies after a year or two. Reprehensible.
