VIVO, a sub brand of OPPO’s parent company, BBK Electronics, has today announced the launch of what the company is heralding as Australia’s cheapest 5G smartphone with the VIVO Y52 5G priced at $379.
The VIVO Y52 5G comes with a teardrop 2.75mm bezel-less 6.58-inch full HD plus display with 3D curves allowing you to get an immersive experience display wise. It comes with an Octa-core MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G chipset, along with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card.
In terms of camera technology, the VIVO Y52 5G comes with a rear triple camera set up with a 48MP main wide camera lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor whilst the single front camera is an 8MP lens.
The VIVO Y52 5G comes with NFC capabilities meaning Google Pay contactless payments will work on this device, alongside Bluetooth version 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and is all powered by a non-removable 5000mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint sensor available for those who prefer fingerprint security.
The VIVO Y52 5G comes with VIVO’s latest FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 and elevates the smartphone experience with a minimalist design aesthetic and touch controls that are personalised to your style.
The VIVO Y52 5G will be available both instore and online at Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Amazon, Kogan, eBay MyDeal and Mobileciti for $379.
