Motorola has announced that it will be launching the Motorola G50 5G, which brings some impressive specs in a mid-tier budget form. The Moto G50 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision IPS LED display (1600×720) running 90Hz refresh and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. The other vitals include 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be expanded to 1TB with the use of a microSD card.
In terms of cameras, the Moto G50 5G comes with a triple rear camera set up that has a 48MP main camera lens, with 2MP Macro Vision and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera, the Moto G50 5G comes with a single 13MP front-facing camera.
The connectivity is headlined by USB-C charging port along with a 10W (15W is available for separate purchase) charger, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth version 5.0 and a fingerprint scanner. It’s also got NFC capabilities and Wi-Fi 802.11ac and runs Android 11 out of the box.
The Moto G50 5G will be available from 26 August 2021 in Meteorite Grey for $399.00 at JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Big W, Mobiliciti, Motorola & Lenovo Online. Furthermore, the Motorola Moto G50 5G will also be available at Vodafone by the end of September, though no dates were provided.
$399 for a 720p device? Get Real! A 720p device, today, should be $199, at absolute most.
