The monthly Android security update is rolling out in the first week of the month as usual. It addresses several security issues, software bugs and user experience items.
This time around, there are fixes for several key areas on the latest Pixels, including fixes for key apps like the phone app, battery, biometrics, Bluetooth and some camera issues. If you’re interested in reading the full change log, you can head to the Pixel Community forums.
As is always the case, the images are available if you’re too impatient to wait for the update to be pushed to your device. While it’s not perfect, I still feel like the Pixel 7 Pro is the best value and user experience I’ve had on an Android phone to date. So the continued updates and commitment to security ensure I’ll continue to have a Pixel in my pocket for some time to come.
