Samsung has begun sending out invites for its Unpacked event, which is due to be held in San Francisco on February 1st (Feb 2nd in the early hours for us) US time, with the company expected to launch its new flagship Galaxy S23 models.

The Galaxy S23 series of devices began to leak out in dribs and drabs last year, with one of the biggest speculations being that Samsung might dump the use of its own Exynos chips in favour of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips instead. Other rumours include the company announcing a 200MP main camera sensor over the 108MP camera the Galaxy S22 Ultra, alongside upgraded selfie cameras and tweaks to the design.

Of course, it is important to take any rumours with a grain of salt as we will have to wait to see what Samsung will launch. Samsung will live stream the event on their website at samsung.com and their YouTube Channel.

We will also bring you all the news of the products launched at the event on the Ausdroid site when we can.

What are you looking forward to seeing at the event, and what are your predictions? We would love to hear them in the comments below.
