The Chromecast with Google TV streaming device was a very nice surprise when it was launched last year during Google’s I/O online conference, which brought with it a new interface and an easier way to navigate around, however it was a little disappointing some apps like Apple TV+ where not available on it, but this has now changed.
Google and Apple have announced that Apple’s streaming service and app, Apple TV+, is now available, with the app to be rolled out to other Google and Android TV enabled devices, though no timeframe was announced for this.
Google TV gives users with subscriptions to Apple TV+ the ability to tune into award-winning original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers for example you’ll be able to enjoy Apple Originals, including series like “Ted Lasso,” which was recently nominated for two Golden Globes, “For All Mankind” season two debuting tomorrow, “The Morning Show” and “Servant,” as well as movies like “Greyhound” and “Palmer.”
Users will also be able to access to your library of movie and TV show purchases from Apple, as well as personalised and curated recommendations and Apple TV channels. Of course, with Family Sharing, up to six family members can share subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple TV channels.
