At Ausdroid, we are always listening to what you want in terms of content for the site as well as the ways you would like to consume news on your devices. So, due to popular demand we now have our own Ausdroid Edition in Google Currents.

We have decided to include three sections in our edition

  • Articles
  • Podcast
  • Videos

Articles will include all of the articles that we see on our site, Podcast is where you can head if you want to know all of the details about upcoming and past podcasts and the Videos section is a direct link to our YouTube channel.

For those of you that are not familiar with Google Currents, there is one thing that you do need to be aware of. We have no control of how often the articles get updated in Google Currents. This is done at Google’s end and there can sometimes be delays of a couple of hours between us hitting the publish button on an article and that same article appearing in Currents.

So, if you are an existing Google Currents user, you can subscribe to our Edition right now, if not, download Google Currents from the play store and then come back here to add us to your subscriptions.

Well done Ausdroid, this will be really useful for when I’m trying to catch up on the go.

Full text feed would be awesome as well for those of us still using RSS readers.

Not sure if it was there when you posted this question, but if you click on the icon “Read It On Google Currents” above, it’ll add it automatically for you.

Always forget about Currents because I use Pocket and its article view from Chrome and Twitter. Things are much nicer to read like that, it would be awesome if we could add our own feeds to Currents and personalise it a bit more though.
