Captain America
The kings of Movie tie-in games are back, Gameloft has released the tie-in game for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which slides into theatres in Australia on Thursday next week, and it looks as interesting as hell.

The Captain America game has gone a different route from their usual fare of beautifully rendered 3D gaming, offering a cel-shaded style of graphics for their official launch of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The game comes with the first two levels free to play as a demo-like arrangement and then will unlock the full version via an in-app purchase of $2.99.

Check out the official launch trailer :

The game sees you taking on the role of Cap as you lead a team of S.H.I.E.L.D agents. You’ll use your indestructible shield as you lead your team through a series of tactically challenging missions full of different enemies from King Cobra, Taskmaster, Puff Adder Winter Soldier and more. The game has been given an original storyline by Marvel Comics writer Christos Gage who’s been involved with a variety of Marvel characters.

There’s of course power ups you can gain along the way such as new fighting techniques and skills using research throughout the game and you can upgrade Captain America’s suits along the way.

As a Gameloft title there is of course going to be multiplayer and Captain America will see you playing Asynchronous Multiplayer games with your friends, with leaderboards to show off.

The Winter Soldier looks brilliant as a movie and the game from the first two levels is worth a look. Of course the trailer for the movie is just as interesting as the game, so check it out if you haven’t already.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁
