The latest Gameloft first person shooter – Modern Combat 5: Blackout – is now available for purchase in Google Play.
Modern Combat 5: Blackout is the latest in Gameloft’s popular series, which has grown in leaps and bounds since the first release. Looking at gameplay footage and trailers, it seems that Gameloft have taken Modern Combat to a whole new level.
The game is selling at $7.49, but has the distinction of containing no In-App Purchases (IAP), so you can certainly get some replayability without spending an extra cent. You should also note that you WILL need an internet connection to run Modern Combat 5, with Gameloft listing ‘*IMPORTANT* Modern Combat 5 requires an Internet connection’ right at the top of the Google Play description.
Modern Combat 5 has a rich and diverse single-player, as well as multi-player game set. The game has unified game progression, which means your XP and level up s from both single-player as well as multi-player missions will be incorporated.
The single player missions include Eliminate the target, Clear the Room and Cover your allies missions, while the multi-player missions include Squad vs Squad, Capture the Flag, Team Battle, Free For All and Protect the V.I.P games.
I’m currently in the process of downloading the 932MB game, and can’t wait to give it a whirl. Check it out, it’s live now on Google Play.
excellent. Thank you someone for finally releasing a game without in-app purchases!
Now to test out the wifi requirement using the xposed module “Fake Wifi Connection”- that really annoys me the wifi requirement of games.
