TMNT
Setting aside the issue of whether Michaelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo should have human-like noses, and whether Michael Bay is out to troll everyones childhood memories; the movie tie-in game for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie is now available to purchase in Google Play.

Yes, Purchase. Unlike many movie tie-in games, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game will set you back AUD$4.22. For such an above average purchase price you’d expect a self-contained game to play from start to finish, alas you’ll be sadly disappointed with the games Google Play entry advising that the title ‘Offers in-app purchases’.

If you decide to jump on in, you can expect a fairly decent looking hack’n’slash title which lets you spin, punch, and kick a variety of Foot Clan ninja, as well as members of street gangs, as well as other mutants, and we assume Shredder at some stage in a Boss fight. As well as fists and feet, you are able to use the usual weapons, but you’ll probably have to pay for them to unlock them.

There’s a story mode for the game which has been written by Tom Waltz, a contributing author to the comic from IDW Publishing. You can also jump into a Survival Mode and just survive waves of attacks.

If you’re down with the idea of a paid game with IAP as well, then head on over to Google Play to check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Tie-In game. Let us know what you think.

Are they for real? Charging nearly $5 plus IAP?!?!?!? MC5 had the balls to breal the mould but this is despicable. I would have bought it for the kids if it was a full game for $5 but now i refuse to out of protest. IAP need to die a slow horrible death. *end rant*

I was VERY tempted to make a similar post, Scott. But as I have been flamed too many times for my dislike of IAP, I figured why bother triggering another flamefest.
So far, on Google Play, there are 2 reviews out of the 16 so far, which make the complaint about IAP in the game. Also, one reviewer complains that the game is touch screen only, so no way to play it on the NVidia Shield.
