Since launching last year, Opera has been slowly rolling out its Max service across the world, promising savings to mobile data of up to 50%.
The company has announced it has added 16 more regions to the availability list, making the Max service available to include us here in Australia, as well as New Zealand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Myanmar, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and more.
So what is Opera Max? Well its a free VPN-connected data savings and data management app that extends your data plan. How does it do this? Well its simple. It basically allows you to monitor and manage your data by monitoring daily data usage and limit data-hogging apps to WiFi only. It also offers further data savings by compressing videos, photos, media without compromising on quality of videos, photo’s and other media which you may get from other data management apps.
