If your heading to Sydney’s festival of artistic light and music, Vivid, then you might want to download the official Vivid Sydney app to get the most up to date information about locations, maps, times and reminders during the 18 night event.
Vivid Sydney, which first started back in 2009, has grown each and every year with the festival spreading out to new locations such as Central Park Surry Hills, Chatswood and the University of Sydney alongside existing locations with the Sydney CBD, Martin Place, Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.
The app, which has been launched a few days before the first night of events tonight (Friday 22nd May) brings some new features over last years app. The new features include the ability to:
- Use ‘Near me’ to find VIVID Light installations, VIVID Music performances and VIVID Ideas talks around you as you explore the festival.
- Sign in or register to MyVivid to favourite events to manage your favourites from your iOS device or desktop computer
- Explore Speaker profiles and Precincts through the application
- Take pictures at VIVID Sydney then augment and enhance these with VIVID Snap before sharing socially
