We’ve seen them in Space, as Star Wars characters multiple times, and more recently as Transformers, but, it’s time for an actual sequel. One of the most widely available games on the planet – Angry Birds – is getting a sequel, with Rovio announcing that Angry Birds 2 will be launching on the 30th of July.
The game will be in ‘App stores’ on the 30th of July and considering we can’t actually think of a platform they’re not on, that will just about be everywhere. Rovio has racked up some big numbers, announcing the game has been downloaded in all its different mashups, spin-offs, and formats more than 3 billion times, making them take the self-proclaimed title of the mother of all mobile game apps.
