Popular game Subway Surfers has been updated with a distinctly Australian flavour, with a Sydney World Tour stopover.
The Subway Surfer game is an endless runner style game, which sees you dodging trains on tracks and through subways in various parts of the world. You can use your hoverboard for special tricks and collect coins and letters to gain special bonuses throughout the game. For the Sydney leg of the tour, developers Kiloo have added in a new character Kim, as well as a special Dive outfit and the hoverboard is now a surfboard.

Subway Surfers is a freemium game, but I’ve been playing it on and off for years and haven’t spent a cent. But, if you get addicted, you can definitely throw a few dollars over to the developers, with a few nicely priced in-app purchases available in the game priced from $0.99 – $109.99 per item.
If you want to try out Subway Surfers while the tour is in Sydney, head over to Google Play and install it now.
