Google is at it again giving away another free album in Google Play Music as part of their latest Music focus. The focus this time is on Greatest Hits because sometimes that’s the best way to buy tunes from some artists.
The Best Of John Farnham is the freebie pick this time around, and includes 17 of his big hits from the last 1986–1997 – some (me) would say the golden years of Farnsy – and includes all the big hits like You’re the Voice, Pressure Down and Two Strong Hearts. As well as all these singles, the album also includes collaborations with Jimmy Barnes and Human Nature.
Update:
Looks like you can also grab a few more albums for nothing:
- Top Gun the Motion Picture soundtrack
- Kings of Leon Only by the Night
- Kelly Clarkson Greatest Hits – Chapter One
- Carrie Underwood – Greatest Hits: Decade #1
In terms of Greatest Hits, the focus has a heap of great albums, with prices starting from as low as $5.99 for Whitney Houston The Ultimate Collection. There’s music from all different music genres including Best Ofs from N.W.A, Air Supply, Kenny Rogers, Rammstein and Simon and Garfunkel.
The free album usually doesn’t last for too long, so head over to Google Play Music and grab it now and check out which other titles are available.
Just take the pressure down…
Google giving away the bogan anthem “You’re the Voice” I see. Unfortunately, Google can’t prevent the waste of bandwidth this garbage would use.
Ha. Giving away a John Farnham album. Even if I was paid to download it I’d still hesitate.
Some Farnsie and some Barnsie.
Mate. Where’s the beer?
You guys are the best for letting us know when there’s free stuff available. Have you got any system in place to push notifications out when they happen? A Pushbullet or similar would be great.
It says free and then I try and get it and it opens Google pay and tries to charge me £7.99
My great grandma is super thrilled about this early christmas present.
