After giving away an Aussie music sampler from the 80’s and then the 90’s it’s time for the ‘noughties’, with Google Play Music giving you another great mix album featuring artists and music from the first decade of the century.
Play: Aussie 00’s features some more light pop tunes, so don’t think you’re getting into the hard stuff, with a heavy focus on tracks (7 out of 11 tracks) from Australian Idol winners. Guy Sebastian, Damien Leith, Casey Donovan, Shannon Noll, Kate DeAraugo and Jessica Mauboy all have songs on the album, as does the Australian Idol supergroup Young Divas. The tracks aren’t bad, but well, it could be better, but hey – it’s free right?
