Pushbullet
Multi-function communications service Pushbullet has today unveiled new paid options for the previously free service which introduces a new raft of features and upgraded functions.

The new Paid tier is offered at either a Yearly or Monthly payment options with Yearly subscribers paying a US$39.99 fee (US$3.33 p/month) and monthly subscribers able to pay US$4.99 per month. Pushbullet Pro subscribers can sign up now, though accounts will not be charged until the 1st of December, offering what’s effectively a 2-week trial.

The benefits of a paid subscription to Pushbullet are actually quite good with larger file transfers (up to 1GB), more online storage, unlimited messaging and features not available on the standard app such as Mirrored notification action support, Universal copy & paste and Priority support. Pushbullet has laid it out the differences in an easy to read table:
Push Bullet Pro vs Standard

Pushbullet has been a pretty beloved tool up to date, how this new paid option will fare is yet to be seen. If you’re interested in signing up for Pushbullet Pro then head across to their website and check it out.

I wouldn’t mind paying for this service, as it’s excellent, but the price they are asking is far too high in my opinion.

I’m a little annoyed that they took mirrored notification actions away as a free option.

Yeah that’s going to significantly reduce the amount of use I get from it… I wonder if I can build a custom notification with IFTTT or Tasker or something…
