After announcing they would be making their app free back in October, Adobe has updated their Lightroom for Android app on Google Play, allowing access to the app even after your trial has ended.
You will still need to sign up for an Adobe ID, which nets you a limited trial of Adobe Creative Cloud, which gives you access to all the bonus content and creation tools – including Photoshop CC – you’d expect across devices on both web and mobile, but after your trial has expired you can continue using the Adobe Lightroom app on your Android device.
Lightroom will still want a Creative Cloud subscription to sync your files to the web, but as far as editing any of those DNG files you’ve taken from shooting RAW on your Android device you should be good to go.
If you want to give Lightroom a go, then head over to Google Play and download the app. If you haven’t got an Adobe ID, you can create one as part of the setup process, and from there you’re good to go.
