Google has announced a couple of new updates for Docs and Slides for Android overnight, introducing new usability functions that in Slides should add more options for people who speak Hebrew and Arabic, while Google Docs for Android gets some commenting updates.
The Google Slides app will now support editing presentations in right to left, which as Google points out is a necessity for those creating documents in Hebrew or Arabic. The Google Docs app will now let you select, copy, and comment on content in Print Layout view – both small, but worthy updates.
The updates should be available shortly with Google advising a 3-day rollout time-frame for the updates. Check in Google Play to see if you’re being prompted to update your apps.
