If you’re on the lookout for a new file explorer app with great material design, or even just after a good deal then look no further than Solid Explorer which has dropped the upgrade price to 50% off.
The app is full to the brim with great features, it supports root explore, it has the ability to read cloud shares including Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Google Drive, Sugarsync, Copy, Mediafire, Owncloud and Yandex and it can even open all your compressed ZIP, RAR and TAR archives.
The design is fantastic after the recent(ish) re-design, and it’s easy to use. It even supports side-by-side folder views you can drag and drop inside and between to make using the client easier.
In the US, the update is 99c, but in Australia you’ll pay a little more at $1.39 for the update – you get a 14-day free trial, but if you want to continue just open up the side drawer and hit the ‘Unlock full version’ button at the top.
It’s a favourite app amongst the Ausdroid team, so if you’ve been looking for a replacement file explorer, check out Solid Explorer now in Google Play.
I was about to say “Sold!”, but it appears I’ve already paid for it.
Amaze file explorer app does 90% of solid explorer for a great price of free
Thanks, good heads up. I bought it. Let’s hope they don’t end up like that other mob, ES File Explorer, who had a great product and then ruined it.
Been using it for years and it is dependable. Updates are infrequent (which is a good thing).
