Google’s presentation software, Slides, is getting a functional update that should please presenters who present to Chromecast or Video calls on Hangouts.
Google announced the update on their Google Docs social media feeds a few days back but the update has just started rolling out. The update is listed in the ‘Whats New’ section of the Slides app on Google Play, stating ‘Control Chromecast or Hangout presentations from your Android Wear device’. Once you receive the update you’ll get the familiar new app installed notification on your Android Wear watch.

The usage seems fairly straightforward with a timer showing above a preview of the slide you’re currently showing on-screen or in your Hangout. The Android Wear controls let you swipe left to advance or right to move back a slide in your presentation, all from your wrist.
If you use Slides and have Android Wear this is a great update, check Google Play for updates and you should also see an Android Wear app on your wrist soon after.
